First Mutual Holdings Limited, a leading financial services group in Zimbabwe, is offering a competitive Graduate Trainee Programme designed for young, high-potential graduates. The programme lasts two years, during which successful candidates will be exposed to multiple business areas through structured rotations and targeted training.

This opportunity is for graduates with a strong academic record to gain real work experience, build professional skills, and explore different career paths within financial services, data analytics, property, insurance, and other related fields. The company seeks individuals who are ambitious, adaptable, and ready to learn quickly in a dynamic corporate environment.

Tasks

Trainees in this programme can expect to:

Rotate through various departments to understand business operations in Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Insurance & Risk Management, Finance & Accounting, Internal Audit, Property Management/Investment, Investments & Wealth Management, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Data Science & Analytics, and Enterprise Risk Management.
Participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and supervision to build technical and professional skills.
Assist with real projects, reporting, and departmental tasks in forms relevant to each rotation (e.g. financial reporting, risk assessments, marketing campaigns, data modelling).
Attend workshops and training sessions on corporate processes, compliance, communication, and management.
Engage in teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration, taking responsibility for assigned deliverables.
Learn and apply computer tools, data analytics, modelling, and software relevant to the department.

Qualifications

Education & Certification

A university degree with ‘Upper Second Class Honours (2.1) or better.
Degree must not be older than 3 years by the time of application.

Experience & Other Requirements

Graduates only — minimal or no work experience required.
Strong academic performance; exceptional grades preferred.
Age 26 years or below at time of application.
Good communication (written & oral) skills.
Highly adaptable, able to pick up new concepts quickly.
Computer literate; comfort with data tools or software is an advantage.

Duration: 2-year structured training contract.
