Background & Job Description

The United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER) invites applications for its prestigious Visiting Scholars Programme 2025. This programme provides academics and researchers the opportunity to undertake 2–3 months of dedicated research in development economics and global economic issues.

Visiting scholars spend their sabbatical at UNU-WIDER in Helsinki, Finland, preparing one or more research papers for possible inclusion in the WIDER Working Paper Series.
